WWE Confirms New Announce Teams For RAW & SmackDown

WWE Confirms New Announce Teams For RAW & SmackDown

Last week, Pat McAfee took a hiatus from WWE RAW color commentary duty to focus on College Gameday. Therefore, the company had to change the announce teams once again.

Variety reported that Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett will do the commentary for Monday Night RAW starting in September. WWE signed Tessitore for play-by-play commentary in July. He will remain with ABC and ESPN while working with WWE. Variety also noted that Michael Cole will join Corey Graves on SmackDown.

WWE RAW will be moving from USA Network to Netflix in January. The company signed a $5 billion deal with the streaming giant earlier this year. Variety noted that Pat McAfee will join Michael Cole to call the action on the first episode of RAW on Netflix.
