WWE Backlash premium live event took place last night at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In the main event, Cody Rhodes faced Brock Lesnar.
The American Nightmare showed a dominant performance earlier in the match. Cody Rhodes hit disaster kicks a couple of times. Brock Lesnar then hit Suplexes on Cody. At one point, Cody Rhodes unintentionally exposed a turnbuckle. Lesnar was then busted open after Cody threw him into the steel turnbuckle.
In the closing moment, The Beast put a Kimura Lock on The American Nightmare. Cody Rhodes then pinned Brock Lesnar using Lesnar’s body weight as an advantage.
Following the match, Lesnar stood tall in the ring while Puerto Rican fans gave him a standing ovation.
