This past Tuesday, R-Truth appeared on WWE NXT for a match. The former 24/7 champion faced Grayson Waller, which ended up in a referee stoppage.
During the match, R-Truth performed an outside dive and he landed awkwardly on the mat. Fans then saw Truth grab his left knee. The referee and the doctor then came to check Truth. The referee then stopped the match.
WWE did not give any update regarding R-Truth’s injury. Now, Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Truth’s injury is very serious. They noted that Truth tore his quad which makes him out of action for a long time.
“R-Truth was injured on the 11/1 NXT show doing a flip dive against Grayson Waller. He didn’t quite clear the top rope on the move and came down badly and his left leg was gone. This wasn’t confirmed at press time, but the belief was that he tore his quad, which is a very serious injury that could keep him out for a long time.”
