Update On Cash Wheeler's Aggravated Assault Case

Last August, Cash Wheeler was arrested by the Orlando Police Department for aggravated assault with a firearm. Wheeler allegedly “flashed a gun” at the other party during a road rage incident, the prosecutor had claimed. Wheeler pleaded not guilty to the charges and was later released on a $2,500 bond.

PWInsider reported that the prosecutor’s office had filed a “Nolle Prosequi” to drop the case against Cash Wheeler on Monday afternoon. There are no words as to why the prosecutor made that decision.

Wheeler was slated for a pre-trial hearing on May 14th at 2 p.m. before the trial on May 20th. PWInsider noted that “all of that has been canceled. Wheeler’s bond has been released and the case was officially closed as of 3 PM this afternoon.”
