Tyler Bate Announces He Underwent Surgery

Tyler Bate last competed on the July 2nd episode of WWE NXT, where he and Pete Dunne faced Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in a Tag Team match. New Catch Republic won the match. Unfortunately, Bate sustained an injury during the bout.

On Instagram, Tyler Bate announced that he tore his left pectoral major and tendon off the bone. Bate added that he successfully underwent surgery and will be absent for a while.

“Tore my left pectoral major & tendon off the bone last week at NXT.
Surgery yesterday was successful and all has been put back where it belongs.
I’ll be gone for some time while I recover, try not to miss me too much.
I’m in good spirits and looking forward to seeing you all again soon, lots of love,
