Last January, Nikki & Brie Bella was supposed to appear on WWE RAW’s 30th-anniversary show. However, they skipped the show and claimed that they didn’t want to appear on RAW because WWE doesn’t acknowledge the women’s revolution.

Yesterday, The Bella Twins removed the “Bella” name from their Twitter and Instagram. Nikki & Brie are now called themselves “The Garcia Twins.”

In an interview with “People”, Nikki & Brie Garcia confirmed their WWE departure. “Today we are officially from here on out, the Garcia Twins, Brie, and Nikki Garcia.”

Soon after Nikki & Brie announced their departure, the current AEW star Saraya (Paige) welcomed the Garcia Twins to freedom.

Welcome to freedom ladies, I know this next chapter is gonna be even bigger! ❤️

Britt Baker also posted an old photo of herself with Nikki & Brie on Twitter.

For real there’s not a single female wrestler today who wasn’t somehow inspired/influenced by @NikkiAndBrie. Thank you. 💕#RoleModels https://t.co/Q5b1Qgo8gz
