In the past couple of years, WWE released a lot of superstars from the company as part of budget cuts. Some superstars who got released under Vince McMahon’s regime were money-makers. At the time, many fans were shocked after the release of Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. However, both Wyatt and Strowman returned to the company thanks to Triple H.

Since July, Triple H brought back several released superstars from the old regime to the company, and a handful of them was unable to get reactions from the audience.

WrestleVotes has reported that Triple H and the other backstage officials are underwhelmed due to some of the superstars not performing well as expected.

“I’m told a handful of talent brought back in the “rehiring wave” over the summer have underperformed and severely underwhelmed Triple H & others since returning to the company.”
