AEW is preparing for one of its most anticipated shows of the year, AEW All In: Texas, scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 12, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
AEW All In: Texas is often regarded as AEW’s version of WrestleMania, featuring high-stakes matches and top-tier talent. Interestingly, WWE has planned two shows on the same day: NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will include Goldberg’s final match as he faces Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.
This apparent counterprogramming raised questions about how AEW views its competition. In an interview with WFAA, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about WWE’s scheduling. Khan, however, brushed off the rivalry, emphasizing that AEW’s primary goal is to deliver an unforgettable experience for its fans.
“Well, I think we’re going to put on a great event, and we have to focus on putting on the best event we can with the best wrestlers in the world. So that’s a lot of fun. So we’re going to have a great show next Saturday afternoon, and we’re very focused on what AEW is doing, and AEW fans, and I think that’s served us really well.”
