TKO Executives Reportedly Had Meeting With Warner Bros. Discovery Over Potential WWE RAW TV Deal

Recently, WWE announced via press release that SmackDown will move to USA Network from FOX in October 2024. WWE NXT will move to CW Network next year. As of now, several entities are interested in securing media rights for WWE RAW.

PWInsider reported that Chief Operating Officer of TKO Marc Shapiro, WWE President Nick Khan, and Chief Content Officer of WWE Paul Levesque had a meeting with WBD’s Chief Revenue & Strategy Officer Bruce Campbell on December 11 regarding a potential television deal for RAW.

AEW’s flagship shows, Dynamite, Collision, and Rampage, are currently airing on Warner Bros. Discovery’s television channels. AEW’s current agreement will end in December of next year. Therefore, the TKO and WBD deal is very crucial for the future of Tony Khan’s company.

Tony Khan had met WBD’s executives the day after Shapiro, Khan, and Levesque met with WBD’s executives.

However, the WWE RAW television deal isn’t finalized yet. PWInsider noted that “Paul Levesque and Nick Khan were in Los Angeles several weeks ago meeting with potential partners and it is believed WBD was one of the potential partners they were meeting with at that point as well with Amazon also discussed internally within WWE at that point. We are told by WWE sources that there are still other suitors.”
