IMPACT Wrestling’s 1000 episode is scheduled to take place this Saturday at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York. Team 3D (Bully Ray & D-Von) will reunite for the first time in seven years at the show.
Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated interviewed Bully Ray and D-Von ahead of their reunion this Saturday. Barrasso confirmed that the two WWE Hall of Famers have signed legends contracts with World Wrestling Entertainment.
Bully Ray last competed on the August 28th IMPACT tapings, where he and Steve Maclin defeated Josh Alexander and PCO in a Tag Team match. D-Von hasn’t wrestled in seven years.
Bully Ray said in the interview that he never thought teaming up with D-Von once again was possible.
“We spent more time in Impact than in ECW or WWE. It’s going to be fun to get back for one night. We never thought this would happen with Devon’s health, but he says he feels great. So we’re going out there on Saturday, and we’re going to give our fanbase what they know, love, and expect from Team 3D.”
