Taya Valkyrie made her debut in AEW on the March 15th edition of Dynamite, where she confronted then-TBS Champion Jade Cargill. Valkyrie’s AEW in-ring debut took place on the March 17th episode of Rampage against Ava Lawless.
This past Saturday, Taya Valkyrie defeated Skye Blue in a singles match. She then challenged Britt Baker to a match.
Last night’s AEW Dynamite was held at the MVP Arena in Albany, New York. Taya Valkyrie faced Britt Baker in a singles match. The D.M.D. put a Lockjaw on Valkyrie to pick up the victory.
At one point during the match, Valkyrie and Baker had a miscommunication. Valkyrie hit Baker with a Road To Valhalla. The D.M.D. landed awkwardly on the canvas.
