Ric Flair made a controversial comment during this week’s AEW Rampage tapings. AEW officials expected to edit the comment from the broadcast.
On Instagram, the WWE Hall of Famer issued a statement after receiving a lot of backlash. Ric Flair stated that he’s tired of hearing negativity from fans. Flair appreciated Tony Khan for everything and stated that he would be willing to walk away from the company if Khan thought he was an embarrassment to AEW.
Ric Flair received a lot of support from Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash, JD McDonagh, Titus O’Neil, and fans after that Instagram post. All of them encouraged the WWE Hall of Famer.
