Last night’s SmackDown took place at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina. WWE taped next week’s show after last night’s live broadcast ended.
Several superstars are set to travel to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions PLE next week. That’s why the next week’s SmackDown isn’t a live show.
Here are the spoilers for the May 26th episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Austin Theory retained his United States Championship by defeating Sheamus. During the match, Pretty Deadly interfered and helped Theory to retain the title.
Raquel Rodriguez’s mystery tag team partner was Shotzi. Rodriguez and Shotzi defeated Bayley and Iyo Sky. The Role Model and Sky had another miscommunication in the ring.
Cameron Grimes defeated Hit Row’s Ashante “Thee” Adonis. Following the match, Baron Corbin attacked Grimes.
Bianca Belair cut a promo in the ring. Belair was distracted by Asuka’s music. The Empress then attacked The EST from behind. However, Belair got the upper hand in the brawl.
LA Knight defeated Rick Boogs. The Street Profits were on commentary. Following the match, Knight said that Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins would be smoked by him.
AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross. Scarlett attempted to interfere in the match, but Mia Yim stopped her.
The KO show ended with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens being attacked by The Bloodline. Roman Reigns then raised the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship while Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, and The Usos stood by his side.
