Last week on RAW, Becky Lynch faced Bayley in a Steel Cage Match. In the closing moment of the bout, Damage CTRL’s Iyo Sky interfered in the match and attacked Becky Lynch. WWE Hall of Famer Lita then made her shocking return and helped Becky to win the match.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was supposed to appear this past Monday on WWE RAW in Brooklyn, New York. However, WWE canceled the plan due to Dakota Kai’s injury. Meltzer further noted that the planned six-woman tag team match will take place in the future.
“Trish Stratus was at one point scheduled for Raw on 2/13 at the Barclays Center, but it was canceled. The reports were it was due to Kai’s injury. On paper, it sounds like they were trying to build Lynch & Lita & Stratus vs. Damage Ctrl. We were told that the Stratus angle isn’t dead and that the match wasn’t scheduled for Elimination Chamber.”
