TMZ reported that Sonya Deville was arrested for gun possession in New Jersey. The incident occurred on February 19th after security found the weapon in her car’s glove box. The authorities stated that Deville didn’t have a valid New Jersey permit for the firearm.

Sonya Deville has been charged with one count of unlawful weapon possession handgun without a permit. Deville is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on the matter later this month.

In 2020, a person planned to kidnap Sonya Deville. Later, the stalker was arrested but the incident impacted Deville’s WWE career.

Deville’s close friends told TMZ that she kept the weapon for her protection and it was registered in Florida.
