Yesterday we reported that WWE released 12 NXT producers & stars from their contracts. All of them are Triple H’s people except Alison Danger. As of yesterday, the two biggest Triple H allies left in NXT are Shawn Michaels and Samoa Joe.

However, Fightful Select reported today that, Samoa Joe has been released by WWE.

Joe was previously released on April 15, 2021 but brought back in June by Triple H.

After his release Samoa Joe tweeted that,

Extremely fortunate and grateful to all the young & amazing talent I had the pleasure of working with in the past months. Only saddened at the loss of an “excuse” to see their continued growth & achievement. I am very excited for there future,….. and mine 🙃
