On this past Saturday’s Clash at the Castle, Roman Reigns was able to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship after defeating Drew McIntyre in front of sixty-two thousand WWE fans.

Karrion Kross and Scarlett were in attendance and Kross distracted McIntyre a few times. At one point during the match, Austin Theory attempted to cash in his MITB contract but Tyson Fury knocked him out. In the closing moment of the match, NXT’s Solo Sikoa helped The Tribal Chief to pick up the victory.

Following the Clash at the Castle win, there are no more top superstars left in the main roster to face Roman Reigns which means he won’t be competing at the next premium live event.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer stated that Roman Reigns is not scheduled for WWE Extreme Rules and noted that Reigns will compete at the Crown Jewel.

He’s not on the (next) show (Extreme Rules). His next championship match is Saudi Arabia. I don’t know who against, but I know it’s Saudi Arabia. He’s not on the Philly show.

Karrion Kross issued a warning to The Bloodline a few weeks ago and he may be Reigns’ next opponent.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
