Ricochet Reportedly Leaving WWE

By The Spotlight StaffJune 9, 2024
Ricochet Reportedly Leaving WWE

Ricochet was called up to the WWE main roster in 2019 after a successful run in NXT. He has won the NXT North American Title, the United States Title, the Intercontinental Title, and the WWE Speed Title. The company has given Ricochet numerous opportunities throughout his career. However, the 35-year-old failed to connect with the audience.

PWInsider reported that Ricochet has informed WWE officials that he will leave the company after his contract expires this summer. They also noted that Ricochet will be written off from the current storyline ahead of contract expiration.

“WWE’s Ricochet has given notice that he intends to exit the company when his current contract expires this summer. We are told that Ricochet is expected to be written out of WWE storylines very soon in advance of the contract expiration… One source we spoke with said they were giving Ricochet “all the credit in the world for betting on himself.”

Ricochet dropped his WWE Speed Championship to Andrade this past Friday at Speed tapings.
