Ricochet Explains Why He’s Not Wearing WWE Speed Championship On Live Television

Ricochet Explains Why He's Not Wearing WWE Speed Championship On Live Television

Last March, WWE introduced the Speed Championship. Ricochet became the inaugural WWE Speed Champion by defeating Johnny Gargano on April 26th. On Monday, Ricochet successfully retained the title by defeating Tyler Bate.

On X/Twitter, a fan questioned Paul “Triple H” Levesque as to why Ricochet is not wearing the Speed Championship on live television. Ricochet responded to the fan and explained the WWE and X deal. He stated that X paid a specific amount of money to hold a show with a title exclusively on their platform.

“Because a specific company paid a specific amount of money to have a specific show and title, EXCLUSIVELY be shown on their specific platform.”
