Ric Flair Says MJF Could Be Next Randy Orton

MJF is currently on top of Tony Khan’s company with a year-long AEW World Title reign. The 27-year-old is one of the best talkers in the pro wrestling world.

The Salt of the Earth is scheduled to team up with Samoa Joe to defend the ROH World Tag Team Titles against two masked men next week on AEW Dynamite. MJF is also scheduled to defend his AEW World Title against Samoa Joe at Worlds End.

In an interview with The Wrestling Classic, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair praised the AEW World Champion. Flair said that MJF could be the next Randy Orton.

“Well, number one, I think he’s [MJF] actually. He comes across as confident in real life as he comes across with his confidence in the ring, and he’s got a good interview. He’s got a great look. He worked hard. I think he’s got the confidence in real life that he portrays on television, and I think the future is unlimited for him, and he’s really good. He could be the next Randy Orton. That’s about as high a praise as I can give him.”
