Rhea Ripley & Buddy Matthews Announce Engagement

Congratulations to Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews who got engaged to be married this week in Florida. On Wednesday, Ripley posted a photo of her and Matthews on Instagram and revealed the joyful news to the fans. The two have taken the picture at the Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort.

The Women’s World Champion stated the following.

“1000x YES! Pure F—ing happiness! ❤️”

Buddy Matthews also posted a photo on Instagram to express his happiness.

Several wrestlers and wrestling personalities congratulated the happy couple soon after the news broke on social media. Bayley, Alexa Bliss, Trinity, Renee Paquette, Nikki Garcia, Mandy Rose, and Deonna Purrazzo just a name few.

Rhea Ripley made her WWE debut in 2017. Ripley won the SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39. Ripley is in a relationship with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio on WWE television (kayfabe).

Buddy Matthews made his AEW debut last year after being released by WWE in 2021. Matthews, Malakai Black, and Brody King are currently the AEW World Trios Champions.
