Rey Fenix Reportedly Removed From Stadium Stampede Match At AEW All In

Rey Fenix Reportedly Removed From Stadium Stampede Match At AEW All In

Last Wednesday, Eddie Kingston challenged Blackpool Combat Club to a Stadium Stampede Match. Kingston will team up with Lucha Bros, Best Friends, and Orange Cassidy to face BCC, and mystery partners at All In. However, Rey Fenix won’t be able to compete at the event.

AEW President Tony Khan said during the All In media call that the changes will happen on the card due to “real-life situations.” Fightful Select reported that Rey Fenix isn’t scheduled for All In as of Tuesday. Fightful added that the reason could be a visa-related issue. They further noted that AEW has a plan to explain the situation.

“As of Tuesday, Rey Fenix is no longer planned for AEW All In match. However, we’re told there are plans in place to explain it. The indication that we were given was that Fenix was travel or visa related, as opposed to an injury, but that has yet to be confirmed.”

Rey Fenix last competed on last Friday’s AEW Rampage, where he defeated Komander.
