Reason Why Jeff Hardy Written Off From TNA Ahead Of Slammiversary

Reason Why Jeff Hardy Written Off From TNA Ahead Of Slammiversary

The Hardys (Jeff & Matt Hardy) faced The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) for the TNA World Tag Team Titles on the July 18th episode of TNA iMPACT. The match ended in a disqualification after interference from Johnny Dango Curtis. The System and Curtis attacked The Hardys. Jeff was then stretchered out of the venue.

TNA Slammiversary is scheduled to take place this Saturday at the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec. PWInsider reported that Jeff Hardy was written off from television due to hosting the Slammiversary in Canada. They added that Jeff wasn’t advertised for the pay-per-view event due to legal matters.

“Jeff Hardy was stretchered off TNA TV tonight to explain why he won’t be at the Slammiversary weekend events. Hardy was never advertised for the shows, which are in Canada. Likely, he is unable to enter the country due to his past issues.”

However, Matt Hardy has been booked for Slammiversary. Matt will face JDC at the show.
