AJ Styles and Omos were teamed up since April of this year, and won the RAW Tag Team Titles from The New Day at WrestleMania 37 in their first match together. However, they were dropped the titles to RK-bro at SummerSlam.
On last night’s RAW, AJ Styles and Omos were appeared on Miz TV. During the segment Miz tried to split AJ Styles and Omos. However, the split happened during their match with Rey & Dominik Mysterio.
WrestleVotes reported that, “If it felt like they sped up the Omos & AJ Styles spilt, it’s because they did. Source says both superstars have significant plans in early 2022, and wanted any type of blow off program done prior to the major Rumble & Mania events.”

There were plans for Omos to break away as a singles star during the WWE Draft but those plans were postponed because the feeling at the time was that Omos was green.
