Last August, Michael Cole and Wade Barrett became the voices of RAW. Cole is also a color commentator for SmackDown along with Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves.
Two weeks ago, Michael Cole interviewed World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins on the October 2nd episode of Monday Night RAW. During the segment, Cole revealed that he missed two shows in his 26 years of WWE career.
Last night’s RAW took place at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Wade Barrett and Kevin Patrick provided commentary for the show.
PWInsider reported that Michael Cole has taken a leave of absence for this week due to personal reasons. Cole will be returning to do his job next week.
“We are told that Cole had requested for this week off some time ago due to a personal commitment… It is not an illness or anything similar. We are told that Kevin Patrick had been scheduled for “many weeks” to handle the lead commentary for the show and Cole is slated to return next week.”
