R-Truth is one of the most entertaining superstars in WWE who was involved in 24/7 title segments most of the time. However, the 24/7 championship was retired on the November 7th episode of Monday Night RAW.
R-Truth last competed on the November 1st episode of WWE NXT, where he faced Grayson Waller. However, during the match, R-Truth attempted to perform an outside dive but was unable to execute the move properly. Truth’s knee hit the floor and the referee stopped the match.
Later, R-Truth confirmed that he suffered a torn quad and he underwent surgery on November 8th.
During a YouTube live stream, the 50-year-old said that he will return to WWE soon. However, Truth noted that he has to undergo another surgery due to infection.
“Yeah, I’m going back to WWE. I just got to heal up. I had to have two surgeries. A lot of people don’t know that. I caught an infection, so I had to have another surgery. So that set me back. Y’all know me, I’m coming back probably sooner than y’all think”
We wish R-Truth a fast and full recovery.
