NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2024 Results

NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed took place on Friday, November 8 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Here are the results of the show.

  • Kickoff: Matt Vandagriff defeated Seabass Finn
  • David Finlay defeated Kevin Knight
  • Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) defeated TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) to become the new NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions
  • Lio Rush defeated Mustafa Ali
  • West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson) defeated Dirty Work (Fred Rosser & Tom Lawlor) in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Tag Team match
    • 1st match: Dirty Work won the Tables match.
    • 2nd match: West Coast Wrecking Crew won the Submission match.
    • 3rd match: West Coast Wrecking Crew won the Last Man Standing Strap match.
    • After the match, West Coast Wrecking Crew challenged Grizzled Young Veterans to a match at Strong Style Evolved.
  • TBS Champion & NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone appeared in a pre-taped video and hyped up the Number One Contender’s match.
  • Hazuki defeated Trish Adora, Koguma and Anna Jay in a Four-Way match to become the No. 1 Contender for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship
    • Following the match, Mercedes Mone came out and confronted Hazuki to reveal their match would take place at Strong Style Evolved. They got into a brawl. It ended with Mone laying out Hazuki and standing tall.
  • Los Ingobernables de Japon (Yota Tsuji & Shingo Takagi) defeated Undisputed Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) in a Tag Team match
    • Jack Perry attacked Yota Tsuji after the match. Perry challenged Tsuji to a match at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. Shingo Takagi made the save, chasing Perry out of the ring.
  • Ryohei Oiwa defeated KENTA
  • Shota Umino and Tomohiro Ishii defeated TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Zack Sabre Jr.) in a Tag Team match
    • After the match, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley appeared in a video message and expressed his disappointment in Umino. Moxley said that he would send an emissary for Umino to face at Wrestle Dynasty. Umino told Moxley to bring anyone he wants and he was ready to fight anyone. Umino said, “F–k you, Jon Moxley.”
  • Konosuke Takeshita defeated TJP to retain the AEW International Championship
    • In a post-match promo, Takeshita said that he would defend the title at the Tokyo Dome. NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi came out and accepted the challenge. Tomohiro Ishii also appeared and pointed at both of them.
  • Main Event: Gabe Kidd defeated Kosei Fujita to retain the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship
    • Following the match, Gabe Kidd attacked Kosei Fujita but Ryohei Oiwa made the save. KENTA attacked Oiwa from behind. Both Kidd and KENTA tried to take out Oiwa but he fought them off. Oiwa challenged Kidd to a title match.
