Before Monday Night RAW goes on air, WWE announced that Triple H has a huge announcement for the fans. Chief Content Officer appeared on the second hour of Monday Night RAW and stated that he wants to ensure that WWE is “all that it could be” for generations going forward.
Triple H then talked about Roman Reigns being champion for almost 1000 days, defeating every opponent in the past three years. Triple H said that Reigns has negotiated with the management that he didn’t have to defend the title as frequently. Triple H made it clear that it’s great for Reigns himself but not for the fans and the company.
The Game said that Roman Reigns will be the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion whatever brand (RAW or SmackDown) he will draft to. The other brand will get a new champion.
Triple H then unveiled the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship and said that the new champion will be crowned at Night of Champions PLE on Saturday, May 27 at the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
