Naoya Inoue's Next Undisputed Title Fight Confirmed

Naoya Inoue (28-0) is scheduled to defend his Undisputed Super Bantamweight Championship (122 lbs) against Ring No. 3 ranked contender Sam Goodman (19-0) on Tuesday, December 24 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

Inoue last competed on September 3, where he defeated TJ Doheny by TKO in round 7 to retain the WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO Super Bantamweight Titles. Goodman’s last fight occurred on July 10, where he defeated Chainoi Worawut via unanimous decision.

UPDATE:

  • Naoya Inoue vs. Sam Goodman has been rescheduled for Friday, January 24th after Goodman suffered an injury in sparring.
  • After a second injury forced Goodman to withdraw, Inoue will defend his Undisputed Super Bantamweight Title against Ye Joon Kim (21-2-2) on Friday, January 24.
