This past Monday on RAW, Matt Riddle teamed up with Kevin Owens to face The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. However, Riddle and Owens were unable to win the title.

Following the match, Kevin Owens grabbed a chair and chased The Usos and Sami Zayn. Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa brutally attacked Matt Riddle. Sikoa hit a Samoan Spike and a running hip attack on Riddle. Riddle was then stretchered out of the arena.

PWInsider reported that Matt Riddle was removed from this weekend’s live events.

Last night on SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that Riddle will be out of action for six weeks after being attacked by Solo Sikoa. However, there’s no actual reason why Riddle was written off from WWE television. Riddle wrestled many matches this year and therefore he deserves time off.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
