Magomed Ankalaev Reacts To Alex Pereira Teasing Middleweight Return

Magomed Ankalaev, the No. 2 ranked contender, is eager to face Alex Pereira for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. However, the possibility of the fight happening remains a question due to Pereira’s latest social media activity.

Last night, Dricus Du Plessis defeated Israel Adesanya by rear-naked choke in round 4 to retain the Middleweight Title at UFC 305.

On Instagram, Alex Pereira posted a photo of himself in front of the television and teased a potential move down to the middleweight division. The Poatan stated,

“Coming down to 185 one more time”

On X, Magomed Ankalaev reacted to Pereira’s social media post as follows:

“@AlexPereiraUFC biggest chicken in the UFC he call  out guys middleweight he 40 pound more than them I am the only guy he doesn’t even mention my name  I promise I’m gonna handle my business  in October  and I’m gonna knock you out under 2 round”
