Longtime WWE Executive Leaving Company

By The Spotlight StaffDecember 31, 2023
Longtime WWE Executive Leaving Company

Kevin Dunn, the Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution, has informed WWE that he will be leaving the company, PWInsider reported. Dunn sent the resignation letter to WWE around Christmas week.

Kevin Dunn worked for the company for more than three decades. PWInsider noted that internal changes at WWE after Endeavor acquired the company led to his exit from WWE. A source told PWInsider that “Dunn was never going to do anything that was dictacted to him, as opposed to how he personally oversaw production in the past.”

PWInsider also noted, “This wasn’t an issue of creative but two differing versions of how things should be run from a TV production perspective as WWE’s new owner seeks to cut costs.” PWInsider added that Kevin Dunn never intended to work under anyone other than Vince McMahon, so his departure didn’t shock anyone.
