Last April, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won the Women’s Tag Team Championships by defeating Becky Lynch and Lita. However, their title reign was limited to a month.

Liv and Raquel defended their Women’s Tag Team Titles against Bayley and Dakota Kai on the May 12th episode of SmackDown. During the match, Dakota Kai hit a kick on Liv Morgan’s shoulder and as a result, Liv sustained an injury.

A week later, Women’s Tag Team Titles were vacated. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were then crowned as the new champions this past Monday on RAW after defeating Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi, Bayley & Iyo Sky, and Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green in a Fatal 4-Way match.

Today, Liv Morgan appeared on the UpUpDownDown and confirmed that she has suffered a torn shoulder. These types of injuries will take at least four months to fully heal.
