Khamzat Chimaev Reportedly Pulled From UFC Saudi Arabia Main Event

UFC Saudi Arabia is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 22nd at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the event, Khamzat Chimaev was supposed to face Robert Whittaker in a middleweight bout.

An Australian MMA insider, Benny P, reported that Khamzat Chimaev has been withdrawn from the main event at UFC Saudi Arabia.

“Per sources Khamzat Chimaev is out of his fight Next week against Robert Whittaker the front runner to replace Chimaev is Nassourdine Imavov.”

UFC has yet to officially announce Robert Whittaker’s opponent. On Instagram, Whittaker stated that he is willing to fight anyone.
