Kevin Nash Explains Why AEW Viewership Isn't Growing

All Elite Wrestling was founded by Tony Khan in 2019 and has achieved great success within the past few years. The promotion started with AEW Dynamite and now has another flagship show, AEW Collision. In addition, Khan’s promotion has AEW Rampage as its third brand.

AEW’s biggest accomplishment is All In pay-per-view which is set to take place on August 27th in London, England. More than 70,000 fans are set to attend the show.

However, the television ratings for Dynamite, Collision, and Rampage have decreased over the years. AEW Dynamite started with 1.4 million viewers and now it has a range of 800,000 to 950,000.

On the latest episode of “Kliq This” podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discussed AEW’s declining viewership.

“I think that what you do when you allow that much blood and that much [of a] spotfest, you paint yourself into a certain demographic that’s going to watch that program. They haven’t grown that audience, and there’s a reason why there not growing the audience while in the meantime, WWE is doing some nice ratings. I know, I’m a homer. I’m a WWE guy, I’m blowing everybody, get my legends deal.”
