Kayla Braxton Confirms Her WWE Status After Stepping Down As Host Of The Bump

Kayla Braxton made her first appearance in WWE on the October 20th, 2016 edition of NXT. A year later, Kayala left NXT to appear on the flagship shows, RAW and SmackDown. Kayla is currently served as a backstage interviewer for the blue brand.

The 32-year-old has hosted WWE’s Bump since the show debuted in 2019. On the latest episode of Bump, Kayla Braxton announced that she is stepping down as the host of the show. Kayla added that she will continue doing content for The Bump. She further stated that Megan Morant will be the host from next week onward.

“Being a WWE announcer for nearly seven years, there’s been a lot of growth and a lot of change, all for the good. So I’m really excited to tell you this will be my final day as the host of WWE’s The Bump. I’m not leaving the show. I’m still gonna be doing some cool content that will be rolling into the show every single week. But in the meantime, I’m very pleased to tell you that Megan Morant will be filling my spot.”

On Instagram, Kayla Braxton thanked Ryan Pappolla and Matt Camp for supporting her over the past four years.

“Thanks @bodieisryan and @themattcamp for the last 4 years and 240 episodes. It’s been my honor to be your host. Now @meganmorantwwe – the floor is yours. ❤️ @wwethebump #dreamteam”
