Kane is one of the most popular superstars in WWE history. He had iconic matches and segments throughout the twenty-plus years of his WWE career.
In 1997, Kane made his WWE debut at Badd Blood pay-per-view, where he cost The Undertaker his match against Shawn Michaels inside Hell in a Cell. Since then, Kane feuded with multiple legendary superstars.
The 55-year-old star last competed on WWE television at the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Before being eliminated by Damian Priest, Kane eliminated Dolph Ziggler and Ricochet during the match. The legendary superstar was then inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.
In an interview with PWMania.com, Kane was asked about a potential WWE return for a retirement match.
“I’ll always leave that door open. In WWE we never say never. I don’t know what will happen. I do some stuff here and there in the WWE. That’s a part of me and it’s something I enjoy and want to do for the rest of my life. If it’s something in the ring, I don’t know. Maybe you have to ask Kane that question.”
Kane’s last WWE appearance took place at the 2022 SummerSlam premium live event, where he announced the attendance record.
