Jim Ross Says Tony Khan Is The Alpha Male In AEW

Tony Khan launched All Elite Wrestling in 2019 with Cody Rhodes, Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega. Khan, the co-owner of AEW, currently has several roles in the company, such as CEO, General Manager, and Head of Creative.

On the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross stated he had enjoyed AEW Collision in the past few weeks. JR praised the Collision writing team led by Tony Khan. The WWE Hall of Famer added that Khan is the “alpha male” in All Elite Wrestling.

“I’ve been really enjoying [AEW] Collision here lately; that team who writes that are doing a real good job, and I know it’s spearheaded by Tony Khan. There’s no doubt who’s the alpha male in that company, and that’s a good thing… That’s how it was when I first went to WWE with Vince [McMahon]. He had his hand in everything—t-shirt designs, ticket prices, on-sale dates, venues, everything, every single thing—and because that’s what he wanted, and he liked to be deeply involved.”
