Jeff Hardy Temporarily Removed From AEW Television

By The Spotlight StaffJune 22, 2023
Jeff Hardy Temporarily Removed From AEW Television

Last February, Jeff Hardy received the verdict regarding his DUI trial. Hardy then made his return to AEW on the April 12th episode of AEW Dynamite, where he saved his brother Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy from The Firm’s attack.

Last night on AEW Dynamite, Jeff Hardy teamed up with Matt Hardy to face The Gunns in a tag team match. The Gunns hit a 3:10 To Yuma on Jeff to win the match. Following the match, Jay White and Juice Robinson attacked The Hardys but CM Punk, FTR, and Ricky Starks made the save.

Fightful Select reported that Jeff Hardy will not be on AEW television until July 19th. They noted that the company is holding shows in Canada for the next few weeks. Jeff Hardy is unable to travel to Canada due to his DUI history.

“Fightful Select learned that Hardy is unable to get into Canada due to his arrests, and was written off of television as a result for the time being…

AEW has eight straight dates in Canada, and don’t return to the United States until the July 19th episode of Dynamite in Boston at the TD Garden.”
