Huge Update On Max Dupri and Maximum Male Models’ WWE Future

Max Dupri debuted his Maximum Male Models faction on the July 1st episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Later, Maxxine Dupri made her debut as Max Dupri’s sister on the July 22nd episode of SmackDown. At the time, Vince McMahon controlled the WWE products and that faction was clearly a McMahon’s idea.

A week after debuting Maximum Male Models, Vince McMahon stepped down from WWE and Triple H became the head of creative. Triple H doing exactly the opposite of what McMahon did and has rid of some goofy segments from the shows.

PWInsider reported that Max Dupri is listed as LA Knight on the WWE internal roster and he will revert back to his NXT character soon. Meanwhile, the Maximum Male Models faction will continue along with Mace & Mansoor and Maxxine Dupri will be their manager.

As we saw on last Friday’s Smackdown, Max Dupri broke with Maximum Male Models.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that, as some of you may have suspected, he will indeed be back as L.A. Knight ASAP.

Internally, he is already back to being listed as such on the company’s internal roster. So, he’ll be back in his former NXT gimmick going forward.

We are told that The Maximum Male Models group with Mace and Mansoor are currently slated to continue on with Maxine Dupree.

The Game gives special focus to his NXT stars and seems like LA Knight will be receiving a huge push in near future.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
