Gunther Retained Intercontinental Championship By Defeating Drew McIntyre At WWE SummerSlam

Gunther delivered several Upper Cuts to Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior hit the Glasgow Kiss to Gunther. The Ring General hit a thunderous chop to McIntyre. Gunther delivered a Double Underhook Suplex on McIntyre for two counts. McIntyre delivered two Belly to Belly Suplex on Gunther and followed up with a Neck Breaker. McIntyre went for a Claymore Kick, but Gunther was avoided. McIntyre hit a Future Shock DDT but Gunther kicked out at two. The Ring General delivered a Powerbomb and Splash on McIntyre. Both men hit chops to each other. McIntyre hit a Claymore kick but Gunther kicked out. The Ring General hit a Splash and Clothseline on McIntyre and followed up with Powerbomb to retain the Intercontinental Title.
