Gable Steveson Issues Statement Following WWE Release

Last Friday, Gable Steveson and several other NXT talents were released from WWE. Steveson joined WWE through the NIL program in 2021. The Olympic Gold Medalist made his WWE in-ring debut at The Great American Bash last year.

On Wednesday, Ariel Helwani read Gable Steveson’s statement regarding the WWE release during the MMA Hour. Steveson thanked everyone in the company who helped him get there.

“Gable Steveson is very grateful for the opportunities he had with WWE and would like to thank everybody in the organization who helped him get there. He would also like to thank all the fans who have supported him on his professional wrestling journey. Now, Gable is ready to resume competing against elite-level competition and looks forward to sharing big news with you all very soon.”
