FTR Taking Time Off From AEW Due To Dax Harwood's Severe Injury

FTR last competed on the June 8th episode of AEW Collision, where they faced Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta in a Tag Team match. The bout ended in a time-limit draw.

On Monday, Dax Harwood posted a video on X to announce that he and his tag partner Cash Wheeler will be taking time off from AEW. In a five-minute clip, Harwood said that he is dealing with a messed-up back and a hematoma on his lower back.

Dax Harwood said that he hurt his back during the ladder match at Dynasty. The injury occurred after delivering a piledriver through a ladder on Matt Jackson. Harwood added that the spot caused him a severe hematoma on the lower back. He said that the hematoma was aggravated after last week’s Collision match. Harwood further said that the AEW medical team informed him to take a rest after evaluating the X-ray.

An explanation that I feel I owe everyone. The fans, my boss, the medical team, and the whole roster.

I appreciate you all, and I hope to see you soon.
