Fightful Select reported that Elias has been released by WWE. Elias made his debut on the April 24, 2014 episode of NXT as an enhancement talent. A year later, he debuted the musician gimmick, which captivated the fans. In 2017, Elias made his main roster debut and was then involved in various feuds.
Last year, WWE’s creative team repackaged Elias as Ezekiel. However, a few months later, he reverted to the previous gimmick. Elias last competed on the May 15th episode of Monday Night RAW.
Elias issued the following statement after being let go by WWE.
