Earlier this month, Edge and Rey Mysterio defeated The Judgement Day in a tag team match at Clash at the Castle. Following the match, Dominik Mysterio shocked the fans by attacking Edge and his own father Rey Mysterio.

In the main event of this week’s Monday Night RAW, Edge wrestled with Dominik Mysterio in a singles match. Edge won the bout by disqualification after Rhea Ripley attacked The Rated-R superstar with a chair. Then, Judgement Day hit multiple chair shots and a Coup de Grâce to Edge’s leg.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that this will be a possible injury angle and Edge could be off from WWE television for some time.

The thing with Edge though is, because he’s got a limited contract so he’s not around weekly, it felt like this was another injury angle.

It is interesting to see how Rey Mysterio handles Judgement Day without help from Edge. We hope The Rated-R Superstar will make his return during Crown Jewel season.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
