Eddie Kingston Undergoes Surgery

Eddie Kingston last competed at NJPW Resurgence, where he defended the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship against Gabe Kidd in a No Rope Last Man Standing match. Kingston suffered an injury during the match. However, he was able to finish the bout as planned.

The Mad King sustained a torn ACL and meniscus after his leg was hit the guardrail. Before the injury, Kingston was supposed to compete in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing. Darby Allin replaced him in the bout.

On Instagram, Eddie Kingston posted a photo of himself in the hospital bed and confirmed that he underwent surgery. Kingston wrote the following in the description:

“Well it’s done. So what up !”
