Dragon Lee Pulled From NXT New Year’s Evil

By The Spotlight StaffJanuary 2, 2024
Dragon Lee Pulled From NXT New Year's Evil

WWE NXT New Year’s Evil is scheduled to take place tonight at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Dragon Lee was supposed to team up with LWO’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro to face No Quarter Catch Crew (Drew Gulak, Myles Borne, and Damon Kemp) in a Six-Man Tag Team match. However, Lee won’t be able to appear at the show.

NXT North American Champion stated on X that he can’t leave Mexico due to a visa issue. However, Dragon Lee noted that LWO has a surprise for the No Quarter Catch Crew.

“Feliz año nuevo!
Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now. Por eso, I will miss @WWENXT New Years Evil… But the LWO has a big surprise for the NQCC and the NXT Universe tomorrow night.”
