This past Saturday, Trick Williams captured the NXT North American Championship by defeating “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio at No Mercy. However, this past Monday on RAW, Rhea Ripley told Dominik that he should win the championship back.
Last night, Trick Williams told Carmelo Hayes that he doesn’t need Hayes in his corner. Williams also said that he could handle the business by himself.
Trick Williams defended his North American Title against Dominik Mysterio in the main event of NXT. In the closing moment, Rhea Ripley threw her Women’s World Championship in the ring. Dominik then hit Williams with a DDT onto the championship when the referee was distracted by Ripley. However, Williams was kicked out at two. Dominik then attempted to hit Williams with the Money in the Bank briefcase, but the referee stopped him. Meanwhile, Finn Balor hit Williams with a Tag Team Championship. Dirty Dom then pinned Williams to regain the title.
After the match, Dominik Mysterio said that Judgment Day runs all of WWE, and don’t forget it.
