Daniel Bryan Has Reportedly Signed With AEW

On Wednesday, Bodyslam.net reported that Daniel Bryan has signed with All Elite Wrestling.

“In an update as to the future of Bryan Danielson (formally known as Daniel Bryan), a source I have spoken to has told me that he is “locked in” and has 100% already signed a contract with AEW.“

PWInsider also reported that Bryan wasn’t part of the recent list of talent plans for licensing and merchandising for 2021-2022. Bryan isn’t scheduled for any future Mattel action figure releases. WWE has also informed video game makers to not include him in the WWE 2K22.

During latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling partnership is the reason why he’s signing with AEW.

“As far as Bryan Danielson goes, I’m pretty sure that whatever decision I mean there are a lot of factors that are going into whatever decision he would make it was New Japan, AEW, and WWE. He didn’t consider anybody else. He has loyalty to WWE and Vince McMahon, and he has a lot of friends in WWE. In the end, the company who had the relationship with New Japan would be the favorite to get him.“

Previously in WWE talking smack Daniel Bryan stated that He wants to work other wrestling promotions outside united states.
