Dana White Reveals When Jon Jones Will Return To UFC

Jon Jones last competed at UFC 285, where he defeated Ciryl Gane via guillotine choke in the first round to win the vacant UFC Heavyweight Championship. It was Jones’ debut in the heavyweight division, and he also earned the Performance of the Night bonus.

The Bones was supposed to defend his title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295 in November of last year. Unfortunately, Jones had to withdraw from the fight due to an injury. Therefore, Tom Aspinall was crowned the Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion by defeating Sergei Pavlovich via KO in the first round at UFC 295.

In an interview with Jim Rome of The Jim Rome Show, UFC CEO Dana White said that Jon Jones will be returning to the octagon this summer or fall.

“We’ll see him soon. We’ll either see him in the summer or the fall.”
